Great Place To Work® Names Aledade One of the 2022 Best Workplaces for Parents™

December 10, 2022

Bethesda, Md. – December 12, 2022 – Today, Aledade announced that it was named to Great Place To Work’s 2022 Best Workplaces for Parents™ list for the third consecutive year. The company ranked 16 among small- and medium-sized companies nationwide.

To determine the Best Workplaces for Parents, Great Place To Work analyzed the survey responses of more than 568,000 parents who work for Great Place to Work-Certified™ companies and employ at least 50 parents. In the Great Place to Work survey, 95 percent of the company’s employees said Aledade is a great place to work, which is 38 percent higher than the average U.S. company.

“Receiving this recognition is a testament to not only the policies and programs we’ve worked hard to put in place here at Aledade, but also to our supportive and collaborative culture,” said Jessica Gladden, Senior Vice President, Human Resources. “In our remote-first workforce, we all know and see that life is happening all around us as we’re working, and we’re authentically committed to supporting one another during both big life events and the day-to-day. I think that’s what truly sets Aledade apart as a great workplace for parents – and for every professional.”

In addition to being primarily remote, Aledade offers 12 weeks of fully paid Parental Leave for all new parents, robust paid time off (21 days in the first year), flexible hours and a six-week sabbatical after six years of service as part of its competitive benefits package.

The Best Workplaces for Parents™ list is highly competitive. It’s the only company culture award in America that selects winners not only on the types of programs companies offer parents, but on how fairly parents say they’re actually treated at their workplace. Companies are assessed on how well they are creating a great employee experience for working parents that cuts across race, gender, age, disability status or any aspect of who employees are or what their role is.

“Congratulations to Great Place to Work’s Best Workplaces for Parents,” says Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work. “As employees juggled work, eldercare and parenting demands, these companies listened to the needs of working parents and developed innovative ways to support them. They took action to provide relief so their workforce didn’t have to choose between their jobs and their families.”

This year, Aledade was also recognized as a Best Workplace in Healthcare, Best Medium Workplace and Best Workplace for Millennials. It was also named a Top Washington-area workplace by The Washington Post.

This announcement comes at an exciting time for Aledade. Aledade recently announced new members of its leadership team, including Ritwik Tewari as Chief Technology Officer and Phuong Phillips as Chief Legal Officer. In September, the company announced it had saved more than $1.2 billion in unnecessary health care spending in the last eight years. Aledade also expanded its footprint to advance value-based care nationwide, by announcing a national partnership with Elevance Health. Today, Aledade partners with more than 1,000 independent primary care practices, including more than 140 federally qualified health centers, comprising more than 1,000 practices in 36 states and the District of Columbia. Aledade’s more than 140 value-based care contracts collectively cover more than 1.7 million patients and $17 billion in total health care spending.
