Bethesda, Md. – Sept. 21, 2021 — Today, FORTUNE and Great Place to Work ranked Aledade as one of the 2021 Best Workplaces for Women – marking the company’s second consecutive year on the list. Aledade ranked No. 12.
The FORTUNE awards are based on an analysis of survey responses from more than 5.6 million current U.S. employees. In the survey, 96 percent of Aledade’s employees said the company is a great place to work, compared to 59 percent reported by the average U.S. company.
“Aledade has fostered a culture that values and celebrates the contributions of women in the workplace, and we’re proud to empower employees to succeed and grow within the company,” said Jessica Gladden, the senior vice president of people strategy & operations. “This recognition from FORTUNE and Great Place to Work demonstrates that year after year Aledade continues to support women by providing opportunities, programs, and benefits that make the company among the best workplaces in America.”
Great Place to Work is the only company culture award in America that selects winners based on how fairly employees are treated. Companies are assessed on how well they are creating a great employee experience that cuts across race, gender, age, disability status, or any aspect of an employee or their role.
In order to support women’s advancement at every career level, Aledade established the Women’s Leadership Affinity Resource Group to support women as they move into leadership positions. The group provides a network of support, resources, and mentorship for women throughout their careers at Aledade.
Aledade has launched a number of additional initiatives and benefits to bolster women in the workplace including 12 weeks of paid parental leave, family medical leave, flexibility to work from home, tuition assistance, and two days of yearly paid leave for volunteer activities.
“These companies have made a commitment to fostering equity in the workplace. With the data about gender inequity in mind, the Best Workplaces for Women braved the task of combating gender inequity by ensuring their women employees feel safe, heard, challenged, and valued,” said Michael C. Bush, CEO of Great Place to Work®.
