Seven new workplace awards validate Aledade’s commitment to building a culture of growth, excellence and employee well-being

Bethesda, Md. – September 5, 2023 – Aledade, the largest network of independent primary care in the country, today announced that it received workplace awards from seven leading organizations: the Washington Post, Modern Healthcare, FORTUNE, People Magazine, Tech Tribune, Top Workplaces and Great Places To Work. These recognitions reaffirm the culture of inclusion and growth that Aledade has fostered over the past nine years.

“Aledade’s mission to empower independent, primary care practices across the country would not be possible without the amazing contributions of our hard-working team,” said Mat Kendall, President and Co-Founder of Aledade. “We are on a mission to change the health care system for the better, and in order to do that, we need to ensure that our staff feels supported, connected and empowered to do their best. These accolades validate our efforts to create a culture of service, accountability, inclusion, evidence and curiosity.”

As part of its competitive employee benefits package, Aledade actively promotes work-life balance with offerings such as a remote-first work culture, flexible work hours, 12 weeks of fully paid parental leave for all new parents and generous paid time off – including family-friendly paid leave options as well as a fully paid six-week sabbatical after six years of service. The company also holds a deep commitment to diversity, equity and inclusion; supports employee resource groups (staff-led communities that celebrate many identities and cultures and also provide input on company strategy and initiatives) and runs an internal wellness program that supports the health and well-being of all Aledade staff.

“Creating and sustaining a culture that genuinely reflects our values requires continuous effort, especially given how quickly we’ve grown,” said Jessica Gladden, Senior Vice President of People, Strategy and Operations. “We continuously monitor our organizational health and workplace culture to ensure we are getting, reviewing and acting on employee feedback. And, of course, we are always looking at our benefits, policies and programs to ensure they remain employee-centric, provide growth and learning opportunities for Aledaders at all job levels and enable our staff to thrive in all aspects of work and life.”

In recognition of Aledade’s commitment, culture and actions taken to date, the company received the following awards:
